For Doctors in Indonesia

You save lives.
Who's looking after your portfolio?

Recompound is a Personal CIO for doctors who want their capital to work as hard as they do — without having to study the market every day, and without ever handing over your money to anyone else.

The reality

Three things we keep hearing from fellow doctors

Before you read further — if even one of these three feels familiar, this page was written for you.

1

Significant savings, but no clear way to allocate them

After years of practice, cash piles up in the bank. Mutual funds feel slow, deposits lose to inflation, property isn't liquid. Stocks? Too many narratives, too little time to filter signal from noise.

2

No time to research the market every day

Clinic hours, surgeries, on-call rotations. Reading annual reports and filtering market narratives isn't a part-time job. You need delegation — not another course.

3

Hard to trust — too many get-rich-quick schemes

Every other WhatsApp group is a "trading signals" group. Every other week, someone you know loses money to an operator who took the funds and disappeared. You need a structure where walking away with your money is physically impossible.

A new category

Recompound isn't a mutual fund. Not titip dana. Not a signals group.

We're a platform where OJK-licensed Investment Advisors deliver their advisory service directly to you. The first advisor on our platform is Budi Ryan (KEP-1/PM.021/PI/2025). Our model is inspired by the Warren Buffett Partnership: disciplined, long-term, value-oriented, and structurally incentive-aligned between advisor and client.

What we are not
  • An equity mutual fund (daily NAV)
  • A third-party fund custodian (titip dana)
  • A daily trading-signals group
  • An algorithmic robo-advisor
  • A unit-link insurance product
What we are
  • A Personal CIO for busy professionals
  • Direct advisory from an OJK-licensed advisor
  • Funds stay in your own brokerage account
  • A long-term value-investing philosophy
  • Fees aligned with your actual returns
Three pillars

Why this structure protects you

1

Your funds stay in your own account

Recompound never holds your money, and never has your brokerage password. You open the account in your own name. We send buy/sell signals via WhatsApp — every execution requires your explicit approval. Structurally, we cannot run away with your funds.

2

You only pay when your portfolio breaks an all-time high

No management fee. The 20% performance fee is only charged when your portfolio value exceeds its previous all-time high (the high-water mark, assessed on the 27th of each month). If you haven't profited, we don't get paid. Our incentives are exactly aligned with yours.

3

We invest like business owners, not like traders

We buy a stock the way we'd buy a piece of a business. We study management, product, competitive advantage, and price vs. intrinsic value. If the price is far below fair value, we buy. Short-term volatility isn't an enemy — it's a friend to patient capital.

How we think

An example: how we analyse a business

We believe in transparency. Rather than just talking philosophy, here's Budi Ryan walking through how we value a public company — using Astra Otoparts as a case study. It'll give you a concrete sense of how we actually work.

They weren't paid to appear here. They're active clients who agreed to share their story so other doctors could make a more informed decision.

A pause to reflect

Recompound isn't for everyone

We deliberately put this section before the CTA. It's better that you realise now this isn't for you than join with the wrong expectations.

You may be a fit if you…
  • Have at least IDR 50 million of "cold money" you won't need for 1–3 years
  • Have already felt the "burn" of markets and want a professional solution
  • Prefer to understand the "why" but don't have time to research yourself
  • Can clearly distinguish investing from gambling
  • Want strong but realistic returns — not 10x in six months
You may not be a fit if you…
  • Expect a specific return to be guaranteed
  • Will want to sell everything when the market drops
  • Plan to trade actively in the same account
  • Are looking for daily signals or "this week's picks"
  • Are chasing 100x from speculative penny stocks

Neither side is wrong. But profitability cannot be guaranteed under one year, and the best decisions come from quiet reflection — not from skimming a landing page.
